Summer 2006
Wow, its been awhile since my last post. For that I apologize. Its been pretty crazy. Here's a quick update of my summer...
May: I moved back in with my parents (in Mississauga), I saw Depeche Mode @ the ACC, and I took a road trip to London.
June: Celebrated Lisa (my sister)'s 19th birthday, ran a 24hr relay in London, World Cup started, ventured to a private party in Manhattan for Ferry Corsten's new release which I was invited to. I took a road trip to Orillia, celebrated diversity with Pride Parade in Toronto, and to top it all off, I got the call that changed my life.... I was accepted to York U for Grad School. MES Urban Planning here I come.
July: Took a family road trip to Maryland, Atlantic City, and NYC. (I Heart Manhattan). I went to a mexican Fiesta, and saw Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young. I celebrated the life & death of a dearly departed (the brother of one of my best friend's and neighbour for 16 years). Road tripped it to London & Grand Bend, saw Pirates of the Caribbean and You, Me & Durpee. I went to a welcome reception hosted by Grad School as a meet and greet (was good times). To end the month I took yet another road trip to Muskoka and that was absolutely amazing.
August: Though the month is just beginning, what lies ahead is Caribana weekend, a visit from Cousin Cecil and his girlfriend Amelia, a week of prepping for school, and two weeks of work in London from the 15th to the 1st of September.
My summer concludes with Labour of Love September 3rd. School begins the 5th.
Hopefully my next posts will be more insightful.
