Britney Spears is getting a divorce.... Again! and Faith Hill is pissed off that Carrie Underwood won the CMA for best female vocalist of the year.
Now correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't there a war going on somewhere? Didn't Saddam just get sentenced to a hanging? Wasn't there a US election yesterday? Isn't there better more insightful news out there then for these two to make headlines...
I thought I'd give Chum FM the benefit of the doubt since it could have just been my alarm clock timing. Maybe I did miss all the intelligent stuff while still sleeping. So I turned on the TV to CP24 and what do I see, two newscasters taking a phone poll of how many people thought Faith was joking and while showing the replays of her screaming what... Survey says, she definately was not joking and she should no better being in the public eye for so long. When your name isn't called for an award you give the 'right choice won' head bob and clap gently.
And once they were done showing the 5th replay they moved on to clips of Fed-Ex formally known as Kfed talking about how much support he gets from Britney only to be followed with a clip of him at dinner being handed the fax of the divorce papers.... Ouch! or should I say Ooops!
I just want to go one day without hearing the name Britney Spears. This chick is 24 skyrocketted to fame and fortune lipsinging other people's music, has had 2 husbands, and 2 babies. Wow. What's interesting though is that I recall when she said she was done with music and wanted a husband and kids, a real family of her own. Well correct me if I'm wrong Britney but divorce is hardly the center of family values neither is having your sons raised by personal nannies.
